What are Adult Intensive Courses?

Our Adult Intensive Courses are designed to give you the most comprehensive nature and awareness training Wilderness Awareness School has to offer.

Our current Adult Intensive Courses:

Anake Outdoor School, our core intensive course is an immersive experience that provides in-depth training in a powerful set of nature awareness and wilderness survival skills (33 weeks Sept-June, Wed, Thurs & Fri with extended trips).

The Wildlife Tracking Intensive, a weekend-based course that specializes in the art and science of tracking, is held at field locations throughout the Northwest. It offers specialized paths of study for both beginning and advanced wildlife tracking students (10 weekends per year, Sept. - June).

Anake Leadership Program Hands-on leadership training and advanced skill training with immersion in our on-going youth and adult courses. Only available for Anake Outdoor School/Residential Program graduates (15 months; June one year to August the next. Prerequisite Any year of the Anake Outdoor School).
