Wilderness Awareness Family Programs
We are very proud to offer Family Programs to allow children and the adults in their lives the chance to work together on projects and skills, as well as to share experiences, stories and laughter.
Our experienced instructors provide time for adults and children to learn side by side, as well as nature activities to engage youth and adults separately. In addition to observation and outdoor skills, each Family Program also includes tips and lessons on mentoring. It's perfect if you were looking for a child nature activity to do at home.
For parents of children who participate in our Youth Courses or Summer Camps, these programs are an excellent way to begin to experience the understanding and appreciation of nature that your children have already discovered.
For parents considering enrolling their children, these low-cost programs
also provide an excellent chance for your family to sample the fun and
adventure that awaits everyone through Wilderness Awareness School's
diverse course selection.
