Wilderness Awareness Monthly Courses

Through creative play and exploration, Monthly Course participants ages 6-12 work together in small groups gaining nature awareness and knowledge of plants, mammals, tracking, birds, and survival.

Our instructors guide students into experiences that nurture their connection to the earth and allow them to feel at home in the natural world.

Class size is limited to 10 students per instructor at Cougar Mountain Park (Issaquah), St. Edward State Park (Kirkland), Tolt-MacDonald Park (Carnation), and Seward Park (Seattle). Participants are divided into groups by age, each with a lead instructor.
