Rabbit Harvest Workshop

When:
Saturday, August 3rd 9am-4pm
Please arrive by 8:30 and be prepared to start at 9am.

Where:
13614 – 276th Way NE, Duvall, WA

What to Expect:
The first hour or so we will be sitting and talking, as you will be oriented to the flow of the day and the method of life taking. We will be using knives and working closely with each other. While there is some space for reflection and breaks, once we begin we will need to stay engaged in the process until the meat is packed and everything is cleaned up. Please try to get a good night’s sleep and eat a hearty breakfast as it is difficult to fully stop for lunch mid-process. However, there is time for small snack breaks so please bring what you need to feel good.

Health Precautions:
We ask all participants to stay home if they have signs or symptoms of Covid-19. Please see the following Dept. of Health Guidelines for an updated list of symptoms. All students are asked to quarantine or isolate if they have symptoms or a Covid exposure per the most up to date state and county guidelines. Please note that masks may be required OR may be optional. We will send an update about current health and safety requirements 2 weeks before the start date.

Food:
Food is not provided for this course. Hot water, coffee, and tea will be available. Please bring a lunch (something easy to eat as we will not have a long lunch break) and most importantly snacks for the day.
