Permaculture Instructor
Daniel sits daily with some of the greatest teachers of listening”the creek, trees, and wild animals of the northwestern forest near his home. This listening guides his work as a visionary, carpenter/architect, and community builder. His work over the past decade with Twin Eagles Wilderness School and the School of Lost Borders and others has rounded out his skills and enhanced his innate appreciation of the wild world. A guitarist and certified leader for Dances of Universal Peace, Daniel has a keen ear for how music shapes a groups experience. Whether tanning buckskins, tending his cabbage garden, leading a community council for all ages, or hunting in the Montana wilderness where he grew up,he brings an open, honest heart to his people. Daniel and his partner, Alexia Allen, live and work at Hawthorn Farm in Woodinville, WA where they help facilitate homesteading components of the Permaculture Design curriculum at The Immersion at Wilderness Awareness School.
