Susan Wepking

Customer Relations and Operations Manager
Pronouns: She/Her

Susan is a naturalist and wildlife photographer whose connection to the more-than-human world began in childhood in the foothills of Tahoma. She has since moved through the Cascades and the Columbia Plateau, as well as the desert Southwest- landscapes that continue to shape and inform her creative work in photography and writing.

She is a graduate of the Tracking and Plant Intensive programs and continues to deepen her ecoliteracy through attentive observation and mindful wandering, nature-based learning, and a background in environmental anthropology. She previously volunteered with the Hummingbird Monitoring Network, assisting with banding and migratory monitoring.

Her work is guided by a practice of kinship with the living world, expressed through poetry, conservation, and martial arts as embodied attunement. She is drawn to communities that support nature connection, ecological reverence, and stewardship, and that nurture reciprocity between people and place.
