As a passionate advocate for inclusive outdoor experiences, Bear believes that everyone deserves to thrive in nature, just as they are. With a heart for creating safe and joyous environments, she fosters independence, confidence, and respect for boundaries among her students.

Bear began her journey in outdoor sports in Southern California, eventually answering the call for adventure that led her to Washington. Here, she honed her skills and deepened her passion for nature at Alderleaf Wilderness College. In 2022, Bear furthered her education at Wilderness Awareness, where she completed the Youth Nature Instructor Program and joined the team as an instructor in 2023.

Specializing in survival skills, bushcraft, tracking, and more, Bear brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to her role. She delights in fostering curiosity and connection with the natural world, while also embracing silliness and creativity to craft unforgettable outdoor adventures.

Beyond her love for nature, Bear enjoys competition, dancing, martial arts, and prioritizes self-care.
